FOR 2010 LEAGUE SEASON IS NOW OPEN
TEAMS ASSIGNED TO LEAGUES FIRST-COME FIRST SERVED
The Metro Omaha Softball
program returns for season No. 8! THANK YOU to all of the teams
and players who are involved and supported the continued growth
of softball in the metro area. Omaha remains as one of the top
10 cities in the country in per capita participation in the
sport of softball.
The growing interest has also
created a “good news, bad news” situation regarding the team
registration process for our summer league program.
Due to increasing
participation in the program, ALL teams at all levels of
play—adult and youth—will continue to be assigned to leagues in
the program on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will know immediately if your team will be able to play on
its first choice of night AND location.

Meanwhile, you don’t need to suffer from “softball withdrawal”
because the “Wiffle Ball World Series” starts Jan. 9 at The Digz!
And we have also formed a partnership with the Ultimate Baseball
Academy to develop some DAY TIME softball leagues that will play
on its indoor Field Turf field. On Tuesday mornings, there are
openings for six teams in the new Industrial League. And on
Wednesday mornings, we have openings for six teams in the Senior
League.
